This English version is provided for convenience. It is a translation of the Korean Terms of Service (이용약관), which is the legally binding version. If there is any inconsistency between the two, the Korean version prevails. The Korean original is available at /terms.
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between OPENSEED (the "Company") and users in connection with OpenSeed (the "Service"), the Company's AI-based startup investment review service.
1. "Service" means the AI-based business plan review and analysis service provided by the Company. 2. "User" means an individual who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service. 3. "Member" means a user who has completed sign-up for the Service.
1. These Terms take effect when posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users. 2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent not in violation of applicable law, including the Korean Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions. 3. Amended Terms are announced on the Service screen at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to users). 4. If, after the Company announces the amendment and its contents, a user continues to use the Service without expressing refusal, the user is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
1. The Company provides the following services. - AI-based business plan review and analysis - Investability verdicts and improvement prescriptions - Analysis against government startup-program review criteria 2. The Service is in principle available 24/7 year-round, but may be temporarily suspended for reasons such as system maintenance.
1. Users must not engage in the following. - Impersonating others or entering false information - Using analysis results obtained through the Service commercially without authorization - Interfering with the normal operation of the Service - Any other act in violation of applicable law
1. Analysis results are AI-generated reference information, not investment solicitation or advice. 2. The Company is not liable for investment decisions made based on analysis results. 3. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they enter into the Service.
1. Intellectual property rights in the AI analysis results, screen composition, and design provided by the Service belong to the Company. 2. Intellectual property rights in the business plan entered by the user belong to the user.
1. Service fees are charged on a per-analysis, one-off basis. 2. Payment is made by credit card, easy-pay services, etc., and AI analysis starts immediately upon payment completion. 3. The Service constitutes digital content under the Korean Content Industry Promotion Act; detailed refund criteria follow the separate Refund Policy page (/refund). 4. Summary - Before analysis starts: 100% refundable (within 7 days of payment) - Company-attributable causes (system error, analysis failure, etc.): 100% refund - After analysis completes and the report is delivered: withdrawal may be restricted under Article 17(2)5 of the Korean E-Commerce Act 5. 1. To improve service quality and AI review accuracy, the Company may use certain data extracted from business plans entered by users. 2. Use is limited to de-identified information such as market-size figures (TAM, SAM, SOM, etc.), cost-related figures, industry classification, and statistical metadata of analysis results. The Company does not separately store, publish, or provide to third parties the full text of a business plan; limited quoted snippets used to verify extraction evidence may be stored internally. 3. Use takes place only in anonymous, aggregated statistical form (e.g., same-industry benchmark statistics); individual users' data is never exposed as-is. 4. Data use under this Article stays within the scope permitted by applicable law, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act, and users may request that use be stopped at any time by contacting the Company at csc887028@gmail.com.
1. Disputes arising in connection with use of the Service are resolved under the laws of the Republic of Korea. 2. If a dispute arises, please contact the Company at csc887028@gmail.com and we will respond in good faith.
These Terms take effect on April 14, 2026. The amended Terms (adding Article 9, Data Use and Service Improvement) take effect on July 10, 2026.
