This English version is provided for convenience. It is a translation of the Korean Privacy Policy (개인정보처리방침), which is the legally binding version. If there is any inconsistency between the two, the Korean version prevails. The Korean original is available at /privacy.

Article 1 (Personal information we collect)

OPENSEED (the "Company") collects the following personal information to provide the service. [At sign-up] - Required: name, email address, password, contact number [While using the service] - Business plan content (processed transiently for analysis only — **your core idea, solution, and business model are not stored**; the original text is deleted immediately after analysis completes) - Extracted anonymous statistics (**only evaluation-related figures such as identified issues, market size, and unit economics** — retained for knowledge-base (KB) training only with your consent, after removing identifying information such as company and founder names and the idea text itself) - Service usage records and access logs

Article 2 (Purpose of collection)

The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes. - Member identification and service delivery - Managing service usage history - Responding to customer inquiries - Service improvement and new service development - Training the per-industry knowledge base (KB) with anonymous statistics — improving AI review accuracy (with your consent)

Article 3 (Retention and use period)

1. Member information: until membership withdrawal 2. Business plan originals, core ideas, solutions, and business models: deleted immediately after analysis completes (not stored on our servers). The idea text itself is never preserved in any form. However, under Article 9, limited quoted snippets used to verify extraction evidence (short excerpts at the level of figures or claims, excluding identifying information and core idea descriptions) may be retained for internal verification purposes only 3. Analysis results: retained to provide the service (deleted upon membership withdrawal) 4. Anonymous KB statistics: retained after withdrawal in fully de-identified, aggregated form only (aggregated only when a quarterly sample includes at least 5 entries) 5. Where retention is required by applicable law, records are kept for the following periods (under Korean law). - Records on contracts or subscription withdrawal: 5 years (Korean E-Commerce Act, Article 6) - Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (Korean E-Commerce Act, Article 6) - Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Korean E-Commerce Act, Article 6) - Records on labeling and advertising: 6 months (Korean E-Commerce Act, Article 6) - Service access logs: 3 months (Korean Protection of Communications Secrets Act, Article 15-2)

Article 3-2 (Children under 14)

The Company does not collect, use, or provide personal information of children under the age of 14 (Korean Personal Information Protection Act, Article 22-2). We verify that users are at least 14 years old at sign-up; if we find that a child under 14 has registered, we immediately refuse the registration or destroy the personal information.

Article 4 (Provision to third parties)

The Company does not, in principle, provide users' personal information to third parties, except in the following cases. - Where the user has given prior consent - Where required by applicable law

Article 5 (Outsourcing of processing)

The Company entrusts the following processors to provide the service. - Supabase Inc.: database and authentication - LETSUR: AI analysis request relay gateway — business plan content passes through it on the way to the AI analysis services below (used under a KAIST industry-academia cooperation program) - Anthropic PBC: AI analysis (business plan content transmitted; deleted immediately after analysis) - OpenAI, L.L.C.: AI analysis (PRO-mode consensus verification; deleted immediately after analysis) - Toss Payments Co., Ltd.: payment processing - Vercel Inc.: service hosting

Article 6 (Your rights and withdrawing KB-training consent)

You may exercise the following rights at any time. - Request access to your personal information - Request correction - Request deletion (membership withdrawal) - Request suspension of processing - **Withdraw KB-training consent** — future analyses will be excluded from anonymous-statistics KB training [KB training options] - "Full consent (full)": industry, figures, and anonymized competitor names all contribute to the KB - "Statistics only (stats-only)": only figures contribute; text and competitor names excluded (default) - "Decline (none)": no KB contribution To make a request, contact csc887028@gmail.com or change the setting directly on your account page.

Article 8 (Cookies)

The service uses cookies to keep you signed in. You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the service may be limited as a result.

Article 9 (Use of business plan data and service improvement)

Data processing under Article 9 of the Terms of Service (Data Use and Service Improvement, effective July 10, 2026) is as follows. 1. To improve service quality and AI review accuracy, the Company may use certain data extracted from business plans you submit. 2. Use is limited to de-identified information such as market-size figures (TAM, SAM, SOM, etc.), cost-related figures, industry classification, and statistical metadata of analysis results. The Company does not separately store, publish, or provide to third parties the full text of your business plan; limited quoted snippets used to verify extraction evidence (short excerpts at the level of figures or claims, excluding identifying information and core idea descriptions) may be stored for internal verification purposes only (proviso to Article 3, Paragraph 2). 3. Use takes place only in anonymous, aggregated statistical form (e.g., same-industry benchmark statistics); individual users' data is never exposed as-is. 4. Data use under this Article stays within the scope permitted by applicable law, including the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. You may change your KB-training consent setting (account page) under Article 6, or contact the Company at csc887028@gmail.com to request that use be stopped at any time.

This Privacy Policy takes effect on July 15, 2026.
